Damian’s journey so far has been one of a creative contrast, from creating commercial installations, film and events to being hired to start up an interactive agency just 3 years out of university. Fluid Interactive as it was called, went on to be one of Australasia’s most successful digital agencies of its time. After Fluid, Damian continued to lead creative teams for various agencies including AGENCY.COM, U.S WEB/marchFIRST and as the National Creative Director, Digital for the Clemenger Group (BBDO) Australia.

In 2008, Damian became a Creative Director for Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, leading a range of key clients across all advertising mediums – all while nurturing the digital conscience of the agency. Also in 2008, Damian was appointed to the Clemenger BBDO leadership board as a Company Director.

In 2011, Damian joined Whybin\TBWA Melbourne as a Creative Director and has continued the approach of building the agency’s broader creative credentials, solving challenges for brands and ensuring interactivity and utility is also at the forefront of the agency’s thinking.

In recognition of his creative leadership, Damian has been a judge at a range of major local and International award shows including Cannes Lions, London International Awards, New York Festivals, Dubai Lynx, AWARD and South by Southwest (SXSW).

Damian’s work has been recognised at Cannes Lions, One Show, London International Awards, D&AD, Clio, New York Festivals, AWARD, Caples and more. Notably, Damian’s work has received Gold at Cannes Cyber Lions, the rare Green Pencil at One Show and in 2014 he helped lead the agency to 7 Cannes Lions, including a Grand Prix for ANZ GAYTMs.
