    Bill Barranco is the founder of Autovision Design Network in Palo Alto, California. Since 2000, Autovision has successfully recruited and placed Automotive Designers, from recent graduate to President level, into major many international automotive design studios in Europe, Eastern Europe, North America, Japan and China.

    After his graduation from Art Center College of Design, Bill was a creative automotive designer for Ford, and later Nissan and Volvo before he became a Design Manager at International Automotive Design in the UK. At IAD, he was the Exterior Designer of the LA 301 Hybrid Electric car, while he managed Exterior and Interior Designers on projects for Ford, Mazda, Philips Electronics, Volvo, Opel, A.C. Cars, Isuzu, Otokar, Pegaso, MAN Trucks, KIA, Escorts, and Daewoo. He has also served in an internal consulting role at Hyundai in Seoul, Korea.

    On sabbatical, Bill attended the Royal College of Art in London. Later, Bill was a professor of Advanced Transportation Design studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he attracted sponsored projects from Nissan, Toyota, and Peugeot. He is also an active supporter of Stanford University in their expansion of their REVS program.
