Brian Stephens is the founding designer and CEO of Design Partners, a product design and strategic consultancy with studios in Ireland, San Francisco and Eindhoven. Design Partners work with global brands and innovative start-ups in lifestyle, consumer electronics, and healthcare industries.
Prior to the foundation of Design Partners in 1984, Brian studied design at Birmingham Polytechnic before working for Ogle Design in the UK and GK Design in Tokyo where he specialised in transportation and capital goods.
In 2011 Brian was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Institute of Designers of Ireland. His project work has won numerous international design awards with several products designed in the 80’s still generating revenue for clients today.
As CEO of Design Partners he advises clients on product strategy and the integration of their brand values into the whole product experience. In the past three years he has led the expansion of the consultancy through new international locations and the investment in their Irish studio to build a creative destination for global business and design leaders.
