Founder and President of Eleven LLC, Jason Hill, attended the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He graduated with honors in 1990 and was promptly selected to work with Mercedes-Benz in their newly created North American design studio, the first design studio outside of Mercedes-Benz headquarters in Sindelfingen, Germany.

While at Mercedes-Benz, Hill’s interest in alternative fuel vehicles was piqued by his participation in the MCC concept design-which formed the basis for the SMART car, initially designed to be all-electric to meet the CARB mandate for automakers. Hill’s early successes established his reputation as an innovative and conscientious automotive designer.

Hill moved onto Samsung Motors in 1997, where he worked on concept designs to help move the primarily electronics company into the auto arena. When the luxury auto manufacturer Porsche decided to open an American-based design studio, Hill was recruited for a senior design position as the first designer hired. His work was instrumental in the finished design for the Porsche Carrera GT show car.

Fueled by his early success, Hill was committed to design work in alternative fuel vehicles. In 2003, Hill established Eleven LLC, an eco-friendly design studio with a focus on design-driven vehicular design, design consulting and product portfolio consultation. Clients include international auto manufacturers and major after-market accessory suppliers.

Current projects include the T3motion vehicle, a zero-emmisions battery powered motorcycle currently utilized nation-wide by law enforcement and officials and the ground breaking Aptera Tpy 1 vehicle. Hill served as the Director of Design for the Aptera a project in which all materials used at all stages of development are earth-friendly.

An expert on both green and design issues, Hill lectures regularly, recently speaking at Seoul National University in Korea. Hill is also an instructor at the ArtCenter College of Design, teaching industrial design to basic and advanced level students.

Eleven LLC is located in Long Beach, California.
