The resulting Nike+ FuelBand motivates and inspires athletes to make every day count. The Nike+ FuelBand is designed to fit an active lifestyle with its sport-inspired aesthetic and all-day comfort.
Kyle Swen is a founding Partner and EVP at Astro Studios, a San Francisco based design studio that focuses on merging lifestyle and technology. Over the past two decades, Kyle has collaborated with numerous diverse clients such as Nike, Electric, Herman Miller, SOL Republic, KIA, Callaway Golf, Microsoft, HP, Nixon, among others. Swen’s work has garnered recognition in ID Magazine and IDSA, as well as winning numerous awards including two Business Week/IDSA Design of the Decade Awards, and a Catalyst Award for Business Impact. Prior to joining ASTRO, Kyle designed at Lunar and Tandem Computers (now HP) respectively.
The Triax 250 was designed to improve the sport of running. The revolutionary features include angled displays, easy to control buttons with grip zones, an S shaped form and ventilated wristbands for comfort and sweat management. The multi-patented Triax’s numerous awards include the prestigious Design of the Decade Award and Catalyst Award from Business Week / IDSA. ASTRO also expanded into Nike’s Cross-Training segment with Covert and Reveal, two watches with analog and digital displays.
